His versatility and charismatic performances, along with his enthusiasm for music has earned him the respect of many. Luke Timothy Grimes is an American actor. Luke Grimes was best known as the star of the movie American Sniper. Grimes was raised in Dayton Ohio the son of the Dayton, Ohio Pentecostal pastor. Grimes graduated in 2002 from Dayton Christian High School. Luke Timothy Grimes is a U.S. citizen born 21 January 1984 in Dayton Ohio. Randy Grimes the Pentecostal preacher and Angie Barker is his father. Luke Grimes' siblings are Racheal, Abby and Seth. A strict and religious family the Grimes family attended Dayton Christian High School. Luke, who graduated high school in the year 2002 moved to New York City where he followed his dream to become an actor. He enrolled in 2002 at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he spent two years learning about acting. In addition, he took guitar and singing classes in order to develop his musical talents.
