Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1961) is an American writer and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She was previously an associate professor of law in the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs as well as hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She is a graduate of an undergraduate degree in Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with a JD at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She ran their Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
