Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most famously, she is anchoring CNN's morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host for the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage from 2012. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle and events such as the discussions to raise the credit limit for federal government as well as the debates of the super committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting about The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. She was a CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She was employed by NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She lives now living in New York City together with her husband, two children and two grandkids.
